Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)

Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton play an aging, boozy couple who use Sandy Dennis and George Segal to torment each other. There’s some excellent vintage signage on display here. Narragansett, Krueger, Lowenbrau and Heineken bar signs are all spotted as is an outdoor Ballentine . We also get a great Piel’s neon and a sunburst style wall sign.

Coogan’s Bluff (1968)

‘Beers on Film’ Hall of Famer Clint Eastwood does it again with another excellent post. This time he’s an Arizona lawman who heads to New York to escort a fugitive. There’s some beautiful Ballentine and Piels neon on display and we get what I believe are 2 types of Burgermeister cans displayed behind the bar.
