Mark Frechette stars in this portrait of life in America in the 1960’s. At the store we see Pabst Blue Ribbon, Country Club and Schmidt’s of Philadelphia signs. There’s also great Olympia and Lucky neons, a kid in an Oly t-shirt and two hidden Eastside Old Tap signs.

Earthquake (1974)

There’s some great stuff in this 70’s ensemble cast disaster film. George Kennedy, Richard Roundtree and Walter Matthau are spotted with excellent bar room signage that includes Eastside Old Tap, Hamm’s, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Budweiser, Miller and Ballentine Ale. Former child evangelist Marjoe Gortner abbeers with a background Country Club Malt Liquor sign and a Coors neon.

Fallen Angel (1945)

Otto Preminger directed and Dana Andrews stars as a con man who goes to a small town looking for easy money. We get a couple good looks at a vintage Eastside neon sign and some unknown bottles.

Radio Flyer (1992)

Adam Baldwin (“My Bodyguard”) stars as the abusive father of Elijah Wood and his brother in this drama. There is excellent Eastside placement with multiple scenes involving cans and six packs.

Swing Shift (1984)

Goldie Hawn goes “Rosie the Riveter” and gets a job at an aircraft plant while hubby Ed Harris is fighting in World War II. Real life partner Kurt Russell also stars. There are numerous bottles of Eastside to be enjoyed and a few Miller High Life as well.

Reluctant Astronaut, The (1967)

Don Knott’s stars as the title character in this comedy that features some outstanding items. There’s an excellent Eastside Old Tap sign and beautiful Pabst & Schlitz signs as well. We also spot rare PBR boxer and Blatz figurines and a dark haired Leslie Nielson with one of 3 different Falstaff signs.
