Foxes (1980)

Jodie Foster and Cherie Currie (lead vocalist for girl group ‘The Runaways’) are teens confronted with the realities of drinking, drugs and sex in late 70’s Los Angeles. Randy Quaid co-stars and is seen with Pabst Blue Ribbon & Olympia cans while Sally Kellerman appears with a Budweiser. There’s also Coors & Old Milwaukee signs and a guitar solo Heineken.

Charles Bronson plays a bush pilot who teams with Randy Quaid to free an innocent man in Mexico who’s portrayed by a beer-less Robert Duvall. The lovely Jill Ireland appears in several of the many scenes involving cans of Coors.

Paper, The (1994)

There’s plenty of nice, bright neon on display in this comedy drama featuring Robert DuVall, Glenn Close and Randy Quaid. Rolling Rock, Rock Light, New Amsterdam, Heineken, Woodpecker and Guinness all appear. Jason Alexander is bellied up to the bar with a great multi-tapper that includes Double Diamond and Genesee Cream Ale.

Last Detail, The (1973)

Jack Nicholson and Otis Young are Navy men tasked with bringing young offender Randy Quaid to prison but insist on showing him a good time along the way. We get Schlitz cans in multiple scenes and Pabst Blue Ribbon bottles as well. There’s also an excellent Andeker sign and Narragansett and Knickerbocker window signage.

Kingpin (1996)

Woody Harrelson plays a bowler who’s career was “cut off” prematurely. He teams up with an Amish Randy Quaid and heads to a tournament in Reno and faces old nemesis Bill Murray. The Budweiser placement is plentiful with Bud Light, Dry and Ice. Roger Clemens has a beer cameo and Vanessa Angel’s Busch scene is outstanding.

The Griswold gang and Cousin Eddie are back again in this third chapter in the ‘National Lampoon Vacation’ franchise. The Meister Brau can sightings are abundant and we even get Randy Quaid going BTM (beer to mouth).

Vegas Vacation (1997)

The Griswolds are back for the Las Vegas chapter of the “Vacation” franchise. Chevy Chase and Randy Quaid lead the way with numerous Busch 16 oz NASCAR cans. We also get a couple of scenic shots of Hoover Dam and legendary showman Wayne Newton is spotted with a background bottle of Budweiser.
