Starman (1984)

Jeff Bridges comes from outer space to fall in love with Karen Allen and abbeer with Michelob Light, Miller High Life and Lite neon signs. Charles Martin Smith, who I’ll always love as ‘Toad’ in “American Grafitti”, is spotted enjoying a can of Old Milwaukee. There’s also a cooler scene containing Budweiser and Busch cans and we get a partial …

Hell or High Water (2016)

Ben Foster and Chris Pine are Lone Star drinking brothers who go on a crime spree to save the family ranch. Jeff Bridges and Gil Birmingham are Shiner Bock drinking lawmen on their tails. There’s also an outdoor Schlitz sign and an indoor Pabst Blue Ribbon Sign.

Big Lebowski, The (1998)

People seem to either love or hate this cult comedy starring Jeff Bridges, Steve Buscemi and John Goodman. Miller Lite and MGD bottles, neon signs and a plastic cup are spotted. Sam Elliot makes a beer cameo and we get a fake brand as “The Dude” burns a doob in his car.

Blown Away (1994)

Jeff Bridges and his father Lloyd star in this Boston Bomb Squad adventure that features Guinness bottles, signs and a t-shirt. Tommy Lee Jones plays the escaped bomber and abbeers between Stroh’s Light and Pabst Blue Ribbon neons. There’s also plenty of Budweiser and a nice array of neon signs including Harp, Old Milwaukee, Bud Light and a ‘Say Bull’ …

Nadine (1987)

Jeff Bridges and Kim Basinger star in this 1950’s Texas romantic comedy that features 3 local brews. There’s multiple Lone Star signs, cases and bottles, a Shiner sign and a nice Grand Prize neon. We also spy 2 similar Pabst Blue Ribbon signs and a rare PBR boxer statue/figurine. Budweiser bottles, cases and bar light also appear.

Last Picture Show, The (1971)

This Texas drama earned two Oscars and features Timothy Bottoms and Jeff Bridges with excellent vintage bottles of Pearl and a partially obscured Lone Star. Too bad we couldn’t get Best Supporting Actor & Actress Ben Johnson & Cloris Leachman or the lovely Cybill Shepherd in frame with a brew.

Against All Odds (1984)

James Woods hires Jeff Bridges to find his girlfriend Rachel Ward in this action adventure. There are plenty of imports here including Guinness, Tecate, Corona and a couple beautifully displayed bottles of St. Pauli Girl.

Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974)

Clint Eastwood is a bank robber who gets his old gang of George Kennedy and Geoffrey Lewis back together for a brazen new heist. They pick up young Jeff Bridges and lots of Olympia along the way. Look for Catherine Bach, the original ‘Daisy Duke’, with a six pack.

Vanishing, The (1993)

There’s some interesting stuff going on here and I’m not talking about Jeff Bridges’ hairdo. We get a rare Blitz Weinhard bottle, a run over Bud can and what I think is a soccer themed Michelob Light neon.
