Tony Curtis takes over as manager of the Bears in this third and final installment of the franchise. Jackie Earle Haley and Regis Philbin abbeer on television with a can of Coors in view. We also get a couple looks at Engelberg rockin’ a Coors floppy hat.
William Devane takes over as manager of the Bears in this sequel that provides us with lots of Budweiser, a can of Schlitz and a Coors neon. The late great Clifton James goes BTM (beer to mouth) with The King of Beers.
Walter Matthau stars as the boozy “Buttermaker’, a former minor leaguer tasked with coaching the hapless Bears baseball team. Prize recruits Tatum O’Neal and Jackie Earle Haley lead a miraculous turnaround. The beer sightings are glorious. Bud, Coors, Mickeys, Pabst Blue Ribbon and Schlitz are all clearly spotted. After the championship game the team celebrates with bottles of Lucky.
