Trading Places (1983)

‘Saturday Night Live’ alums Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd both give excellent performances in this rags to riches comedy. We spy background Budweiser bow tie and Schlitz neons in the bar scene and there’s a Heineken sighting at the squash courts. It’s too bad we couldn’t get Randolph and Mortimer Duke draining beers.

Showtime (2002)

This action comedy gives us cans of Budweiser and comedy legend Eddie Murphy with a reverse Bud bow tie neon. It’s hard to believe how two talents like he and beerless co-star Robert DeNiro combined to make such a forgettable film.
